In this workshop, participants heard from a host of public and government relations experts to get some great advice on everything from developing key messages and interviewing for television, to communicating with community activists and government leaders, then evaluating the outcomes. The workshop culminated with a half-day broadcast media interview training session, including development of key messages prior to going on camera. However, most of the cargo in Latin America is transported by road/highway, which is less advantageous means of transportation and the deterioration of roads and highways as trucks usually transport more cargo than what they can really carry (adapted from a study about agricultural indicators by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics).
